Welcome Students!

SAHRA's goal is to advance the profession and enhance the professional so offering resources to help in obtaining this goal is very important to us. As a student, you will find many vital resources such as our Job Shadow Program, Mentor Program, and much much more.

SAHRA Mentor Program

Need a Mentor?

SAHRA and the Missouri State SHRM student chapter have established a mentoring program for HR students in the SHRM student chapter. Students have the opportunity to be paired with a mentor (a local HR professional) for a semester. The following link will get you to the student mentoring application.

Be a Mentor!

The Springfield Area Human Resources Association Mentoring Program is designed to enhance relationships between students in the SHRM Student Chapter and professionals in the SAHRA Chapter.

The time commitment to be a mentor is small. It is only for a semester, you gain recertification credit, and you get to work with an HR student in the Springfield area.  The mentee is someone you could network with, and at some point, potentially hire.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please review the program guidelines, complete and return the mentoring program guidelines to:
