HR Analytics & Me: Why Can't We Be Friends?

SHRM designed this workshop to give HR practitioners a basic understanding of HR Analytics. During this workshop, participants will learn the basic concept of HR Analytics, its importance to HR and business, what HR Analytics is designed to address and how to establish an analytics function within an HR department. The goal for this workshop is to help reduce HR practitioner apprehension of analytics and set the foundation for broader and more effective use of analytics across the HR field.

 

Learning Objectives

1. Describe the maturation of an HR analytics functions and identify your organization's level of maturity.

2. Articulate key issues related to using HR analytics for impact.

3.Identify key business challenges within your organization and how to use HR analytics to address those challenges.

 

Presenter: Lynette Weatherford, President/Owner of HR Advantage

Lynette Weatherford, founder and president of Human Resource Advantage, LLC has been in the field of Human Resources for 25 + years. Her expertise includes connecting the Human Resource process & practices to business plans through careful design and implementation in order to meet the bottom-line, “organizational profitability.”

Lynette earned her master’s degree in Human Resources from Ottawa University and is a Missouri State University Alumni. In addition to her extensive training, education, and experience, she has her HR Certifications of SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification) and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional).

She is a member of the Springfield Area Human Resources Association, Branson Tri-Lakes Human Resource Association, the National Society for Human Resource Management, Southeast Springfield Rotary, and Springfield Executive Breakfast Club. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for Christian County Enterprise and the Victim Center of Springfield.

Human Resource Advantage, LLC has been featured in the Who’s Who publication of Springfield Business Journal, Biz 417 and has presented numerous seminars and training on HR related topics.

When Lynette founded HR Advantage 15 years ago, it was her vision to create first class services to employers who had a need for various HR assistance - ranging from the basics of establishing protocol/compliance to full blown HR support for small/medium sized companies.
