Grief in the Workplace: Cultivating a Supportive Environment for the Bereaved

This program will allow individuals to understand grief, typical grief responses and planning for unforeseen losses within an organization. We will examine best practices to support the bereaved, and how to create a culture of support and caring. 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn about Lost & Found as a resource to grieving families and individuals.
  2. Understand normal grief responses following the loss of a loved one. 
  3. Evaluate current bereavement policies and assess future agency needs.
  4. Formulate a plan to review current protocol to create a supportive environment for grieving employees.
